ZD pump

GEHO® ZD
This GEHO® ZD pump is a a twin cylinder, quadruple-acting crankshaft driven vacuum piston pump. The pump is applied for wellpoint dewatering: lowering the ground water table and enable excavations and constructions under dry conditions. The crank timing produces a moderate pulsating type action that prevents clogging of the wellpoint strainers and achieves priming from greater depths. The ZD pump range is developed and manufactured by Weir Minerals Netherlands b.v.
For the Netherlands and Belgium the Dutch company Bruin Aggregaten, BATrading, is the authorised distributor for the GEHO wellpoint dewatering pumps. For more info: l.nefkens@weirminerals.com

Features / Benefits

  • Up to 100 m³/h constant capacity water, air or water and air mixture
  • discharge head of 20 metres
  • wellpoint dewatering by gravity
  • wellpoint dewatering by vacuum
  • horizontal dewatering
  • contaminated soil washing

The pump is self priming with a suction lift (vacuum) of 9,6 m water column. The pulsating vacuum prevents well point clogging and achieves priming from greater depths.

Engine driven pump units for use in urban areas are noise silenced to 48 dB(A). They are single point lift, stackable, vandalism proof and protected against the spillage of oil and fuel. Features include remote wireless alert, start and stop.

Expertise knowledge gained in the dewatering field is available for engineering, installation and supervision of dewatering systems.
